The MotionTracker project, part of my Internship with HP-SCDS during my Computer Science degree, encompassed the development of a modular, Python-based application capable of tracking moving objects with a camera, even when the camera itself is in motion. Built utilizing the OpenCV library, it included an extensive documentation and investigation on design decisions, algorithms, and utilized technologies.
This emphasis on documentation ensured an ease of future enhancements or integration into larger systems. Developed iteratively using agile methodologies, the project was highly successful:
- HP SCDS Internship: Received a grade of 9.5/10.
- Final Degree Project: Awarded a grade of 9.8/10.
- Industry Recognition: Selected as a finalist in the HP SCDS Awards.
