Hello! I'm Carlos Martínez

Passionate about creating interactive experiences, I'm a creative programmer and game developer who excels both independently and in teams. With over three years of professional programming experience, including roles as a Junior Programmer at Maniac Panda Games and a Software Engineering Intern at HP SCDS.
My education (two Master's and a degree) gives me a strong foundation in Computer Science Engineering and in Video Game Design and Programming to tackle any challenge.
I'm a versatile programmer with experience in C#, C++, C, Python, Java, Matlab, Lua and more. My experience in game modding highlights my ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to diverse projects.
This adaptability is evident in my portfolio, which spans 2D and 3D games, AI systems, online game modes, procedural dungeons, stealth systems, motion tracking apps, gameplay-altering mods, storage systems and more.
But my skills extend far beyond programming!
I have a passion for creation and design, with experience in character and environment design, 3D modeling, level design, UI design, storytelling, and worldbuilding. My Master's Thesis project, Katergáris' Labyrinth, perfectly showcases this, as I reimagined the world of mythological Greece with a unique and original twist.
